Violeta Ramos is a dedicated school board leader, advocate, and current President of the Osborn School District Governing Board, committed to ensuring every student, educator, and family feels supported, protected, and represented.

During her time in office, Violeta has worked to strengthen policies that create safe, inclusive learning environments while advocating for the resources educators and students need to succeed. Her leadership is grounded in both experience and action—showing up not only for her district, but for her community at every level.

Violeta has represented Osborn at the state and national level, including serving on Governor Hobbs’ Educator Retention Task Force, participating in national leadership fellowships, and meeting directly with lawmakers to advocate for public education. She brings the voice of her community into the rooms where decisions are made.

As a former English language learner, Violeta understands firsthand the impact that strong support systems and representation can have on a student’s future. That experience continues to drive her commitment to equitable opportunities for all students.

She is known for leading with courage—standing up for safe schools, advocating for fair funding, and ensuring that every family, regardless of background or status, feels protected and valued.
